Kindly allow me a little space in the columns of your esteemed daily to express my views about the disturbances caused by the thoughtless use of loudspeakers.

Nowadays loudspeakers are being used indiscriminately to disturb the rest and peace of so many people. Specially amid the open gatherings, religious festivals, wedding ceremonies, and picnics loudspeakers are being used. It is creating nuisance and noise pollution.This is giving rise to more and more noise pollution which in turn is paving the way for deafness, inattentiveness, brain damage and other chronic diseases.The peace loving people, the old, the patients, students and kids too have to face so much problems and find themselves in a hopeless and helpless situation amid the uproarious sounds of loudspeakers. The old and the patients can't sleep well. The students can't concentrate in their studies.I think, mass-awareness is necessary to regulate the insensible use of loudspeakers.

Under the above circumstances I, therefore ,request you to write the leading article on the topic so that government or concerned authority should take appropriate steps as early as possible.
