Dear Rohit,

At the beginning of my letter, take my loving greetings. It has been a long time since we met. I hope you and your family are well by the grace of God. I am also fine here. I want to tell you about my recent visit to Agra, a city famous all over the world for the beautiful Taj Mahal. We were six in total — my family and the family of my close friend. We left for Agra on 26th January by train. It was my first visit there, and I was very excited. At night the compartment became quiet, and only the sound of the train could be heard.

Next morning we reached Agra. Even from the station, we could feel the beauty of the Taj Mahal. It is made of white marble and looks very grand. Emperor Shah Jahan built it in memory of his wife Mumtaz Begum. Though it was built long ago, it still looks new and beautiful. We stayed in a hotel for seven days and visited many other old places. Truly, Agra is a city full of history.
