Story of The Lion and the Mouse
1. Once upon a time, a lion and lived in a big forest.
2. One day, he was sleeping with his head on his paws.
3. A small mouse ran over his nose by mistake.
4. The lion woke up and caught the mouse under his paw.
5. The lion wanted to kill the mouse.
6. The mouse was very afraid and begged for her life.
7. She said, “Please let me go. One day, I will help you.”
8. The lion laughed. He thought, “How can a little mouse help a big lion?”
9. But the lion was kind and let the mouse go free.
10. A few days later, the lion was caught in a hunter’s net.
11. He tried very hard, but he could not escape.
12. He roared loudly for help.
13. The little mouse heard the lion’s roar.
14. She quickly came to help him.
15. The mouse used her sharp teeth to cut the net.
16. She worked hard and made a big hole in the net.
17. At last, the lion came out of the trap.
18. The lion was very happy and thanked the mouse.
19. The mouse smiled and said, “See, I have helped you today.”
20. From that day, the lion and the mouse became good friends.
Moral of the Story:
Kindness is never wasted. Even a small friend can be a great help.
