The patient had died before the doctor came. - স্টেশনে পৌঁছাতে না পৌঁছাতেই ট্রেনটি ছেড়ে দিল।
No sooner had we reached the station than the train left. - সে এতই দুর্বল যে ঠিকমতো হাঁটতে পারে না।
He is so weak that he cannot walk properly. - শিক্ষক মশাই শ্রেণীকক্ষে প্রবেশ করা মাত্রই ছাত্ররা উঠে দাঁড়াল।
As soon as the teacher entered the classroom, the students stood up. - যদিও সে গরীব, তবু সে সম্পূর্ণ সৎ।
Although he is poor, he is completely honest. - তুমি কি জানো সে ঠিক কোথায় বাস করে?
Do you know exactly where he lives? - দরজাটি এখনই বন্ধ করা হোক।
Let the door be shut immediately. / Let the door be closed right now.
Part 2: Sentences 11 to 20
- ঈশ্বর তোমার মঙ্গল করুন।
May God bless you. - গোলাপ কী সুন্দর ফুল!
What a beautiful flower the rose is! - আমি আকাশে একটি সাদা পাখিকে উড়তে দেখলাম।
I saw a white bird flying in the sky. - সে বলল যে সে আগামীকাল কলকাতা যাবে।
He said that he would go to Kolkata the next day. - সকাল থেকে একটানা মুষলধারে বৃষ্টি হচ্ছে।
It has been raining cats and dogs continuously since morning. / It has been raining heavily since morning. - আমাদের সর্বদা গুরুজনদের এবং শিক্ষকদের সম্মান করা উচিত।
We should always respect our elders and teachers. - সময় ও স্রোত কারও জন্য অপেক্ষা করে না।
Time and tide wait for none. - অল্পবিদ্যা ভয়ঙ্করী।
A little learning is a dangerous thing. - মানুষ মরণশীল।
Man is mortal. - বরফ জলের চেয়ে হালকা বলে জলে ভাসে।
Ice floats on water because it is lighter than water.
Part 3: Sentences 21 to 30
- সে নিঃসন্দেহে ক্লাসের সেরা ছেলে।
He is undoubtedly the best boy in the class. - সুস্বাস্থ্যের জন্য হাঁটা একটি চমৎকার ব্যায়াম।
Walking is an excellent exercise for good health. - আমি যদি স্বাধীন পাখি হতাম!
If I were a free bird! / Had I been a free bird! - সত্য কথা বল, নতুবা কঠোর শাস্তি পাবে।
Speak the truth, or you will be severely punished. - সে কঠোর পরিশ্রম করেছিল যাতে সে চূড়ান্ত পরীক্ষায় পাস করতে পারে।
He worked hard so that he could pass the final exam. - বাকি কাজটি শেষ করে সে সোজা বাড়ি চলে গেল।
Having finished the rest of the work, he went straight home. - আমি সেই লম্বা লোকটিকে চিনি যিনি গতকাল এখানে এসেছিলেন।
I know the tall man who came here yesterday. - এখনই আমাদের ঘুমাতে যাওয়ার উপযুক্ত সময়।
It is high time we went to bed. - সূর্য ওঠার পর ঘন কুয়াশা কেটে গেল।
The dense fog disappeared after the sun had risen. / The thick fog cleared up after sunrise. - সে কেবল পরীক্ষায় পাসই করেনি, বৃত্তিও পেয়েছিল।

Part 4: Sentences 31 to 40
- সে এমনভাবে কথা বলে যেন সে এই বিষয়ে সব জানে।
He talks as if he knew everything about this matter. - এই দামি কাচের গ্লাসটি কার দ্বারা ভাঙা হয়েছে?
By whom has this expensive glass tumbler been broken? / Who broke this expensive glass tumbler? - সে সাঁতার কাটতে জানে না।
He doesn't know how to swim. - তুমি যত পড়বে, তত শিখবে।
The more you read, the more you will learn. - আমি তোমার সাথে শীঘ্রই দেখা করার জন্য অধীর আগ্রহে অপেক্ষা করছি।
I am looking forward to meeting you soon. - আমরা স্কুলে পৌঁছতে না পৌঁছতেই সতর্কীকরণ ঘণ্টা বেজে উঠল।
