Explanation: The speaker asks for a life of freedom and travel.
Let the lave go by me,
Bengali: স্রোতকে / ছোটো নদীকে আমার পাশ দিয়ে বয়ে যেতে দাও,

Give the jolly heaven above

Bed in the bush with stars to see,
Bengali: ঝোপঝাড়ের মাঝে বিছানা আর দেখার জন্য তারা,
Explanation: He is content sleeping outdoors where he can watch the stars.
Bread I dip in the river—
Bengali: নদীর জলে ভেজানো রুটি—
Explanation: He finds satisfaction in the simplest food found in nature.
There's the life for a man like me,
Bengali: আমার মতো মানুষের জন্য এটাই জীবন,
Explanation: This rugged lifestyle is perfect for a wanderer.
There's the life for ever.
Bengali: এই জীবনই হোক চিরকালের জন্য।
Explanation: He wishes to live this way for the rest of his life.
Let the blow fall soon or late,
Bengali: বিপদ আজ আসুক বা কাল (দেরি করে),
Explanation: He is ready to face troubles whenever they arrive.

Let what will be o'er me;
Bengali: আমার কপালে যা আছে তাই হোক;
Explanation: He accepts whatever fate or circumstances come his way.
Give the face of earth around,
Bengali: চারিপাশে থাকুক পৃথিবীর উন্মুক্ত প্রকৃতি,
Explanation: He only wants to be surrounded by the natural world.
And the road before me.
Bengali: আর আমার সামনে থাকুক চলার পথ।
Explanation: His focus is only on the journey ahead.
Wealth I seek not, hope nor love,
Bengali: আমি সম্পদ খুঁজি না, আশাও না, ভালোবাসাও না,
Explanation: He does not care for money, high expectations, or romance.
Nor a friend to know me;
Bengali: এমনকি আমাকে চেনার মতো কোনো বন্ধুকেও না;
Explanation: He prefers a solitary life where he remains a stranger.
All I seek, the heaven above
Bengali: আমি যা খুঁজি তা হলো উপরের আকাশ
Explanation: His only needs are spiritual or natural.
And the road below me.

Explanation: All he needs is the ground to keep moving.
Or let autumn fall on me

Explanation: He is willing to stay outdoors even as the seasons change.
Where afield I linger,

Explanation: He spends long hours wandering through open fields.

Silencing the bird on tree,

White as meal the frosty field—
Bengali: শস্যচূর্ণের মতো সাদা তুষারাবৃত মাঠ—
Explanation: The frost makes the field look white like flour.
Note: Meal - Grains of cereal after a coarse grinding
Warm the fireside haven—
Bengali: আগুনের পাশের নিরাপদ আশ্রয় উষ্ণ থাকে—
Explanation: Others find comfort by the fireplace, but he stays outside.
Note: Haven - A safe place
Not to autumn will I yield,
Bengali:শরৎতের/ শরতের কাছে আমি হার মানবো না,
Explanation: He refuses to let the harsh season stop his journey.
Note: Yield - Surrender (বশ্যতা স্বীকার করা)
Not to winter even!
Bengali: এমনকি শীতের কাছেও না!
Explanation: He is determined to stay a vagabond even in the coldest winter.
