- Describe the Air Stream Mechanisms used in human speech. Which mechanism is most common in English and why?
- Draw a labeled diagram of the Organs of Speech and explain the function of the Larynx and the Soft Palate.
- Classify English consonants according to their Place and Manner of Articulation with suitable examples.
- Distinguish between Pure Vowels (Monophthongs) and Diphthongs. Explain the classification of vowels based on tongue height and position.
