ক. সাধারণ জ্ঞান – ১৫ নম্বর

প্রশ্নগুলি প্রার্থীর সাধারণ জ্ঞানের দক্ষতা পরীক্ষা করবে, যা তার চারপাশের পরিবেশ এবং সমাজে তার প্রয়োগ বোঝার উপর ভিত্তি করে।

খ. সাম্প্রতিক ঘটনা – ১৫ নম্বর

প্রশ্নগুলি প্রার্থীর সাম্প্রতিক ঘটনা এবং দৈনন্দিন পর্যবেক্ষণ ও অভিজ্ঞতার জ্ঞান পরীক্ষা করবে।

পরীক্ষায় প্রধানত পশ্চিমবঙ্গ রাজ্য এবং ভারতের অন্যান্য রাজ্য সম্পর্কিত প্রশ্ন থাকবে, বিশেষ করে:

• ক্রীড়া

• ইতিহাস

• সংস্কৃতি

• ভূগোল

গ. গাণিতিক যোগ্যতা – ১৫ নম্বর

এই অংশের প্রশ্নসমূহ অন্তর্ভুক্ত করবে:

• সংখ্যা পদ্ধতি

• সরলীকরণ

• দশমিক ও ভগ্নাংশ

• লঘিষ্ঠ সাধারণ গুণক (LCM) ও বৃহত্তম সাধারণ গুণক (HCF)

• গড় (Average)

• অনুপাত ও হার (Ratio & Proportion)

• শতকরা হার (Percentage)

• লাভ ও ক্ষতি (Profit & Loss)

• সরল সুদ (Simple Interest)

• সময় ও দূরত্ব (Time & Distance)

• সময় ও কাজ (Time & Work)

SYLLABUS FOR THE POST OF GROUP - D STAFF

(Written Examination)

A. General Knowledge – 15 Marks

Questions will be designed to test the candidate’s general knowledge of the environment around him/her and its application to society.

B. Current Affairs – 15 Marks

Questions will be designed to test the candidate’s knowledge of current events and matters of everyday observation and experience.

The test will also include questions related mainly to the State of West Bengal and other States of India, especially pertaining to:

• Sports

• History

• Culture

• Geography

C. Arithmetic – 15 Marks

Questions in this section will cover:

• Number System

• Simplification

• Decimals and Fractions

• LCM & HCF

• Average

• Ratio and Proportion

• Percentage

• Profit and Loss

• Simple Interest

• Time and Distance

• Time and Work
