Topic: How Butter is Made
✅ Answer:
Butter is made from milk. First, milk is obtained from cows or buffaloes. Then the cream is separated from the milk and poured into large containers. The cream is then pasteurised to kill harmful bacteria. After that, the buttermilk is churned to collect the milk fat. The water is drained away, and the thick butter is obtained. It is then forced into rollers to make it smooth. Finally, the butter is packed and sent to the market for sale.

1. Read the passage carefully and answer the questions that follow:
In winter, when the harbour is frozen over, we all move over to the mainland. As soon as spring comes, back we sail to our own dear island.
The funny part used to be that people always pitied us when the time came for us to return. They said we must be so lonesome over there, with no other children near us. Of course Claude and I would have liked to have someone to play with us. It is hard to run pirate caves and things like that with only two. But we used to quarrel a good deal with the mainland children in winter. So it was perhaps just as well that there were none of them on the Big Half Moon. Claude and I never quarrelled.
To be sure, Father didn't seem to have any relations except us. This used to puzzle Claude and me. Everybody on the mainland had relations. Why hadn’t we? Was it because we lived on an island? We thought it would be so jolly to have an uncle and aunt and some cousins. Once we asked Father about it, but he looked so sorrowful that we wished we hadn't. He said it was all his fault. Claude and I didn’t understand what he meant.

I must go down to the seas again, to the vagrant gypsy life,

As the city celebrated Satyajit Ray’s 102nd birth anniversary on Tuesday, an old curiosity shop in Bhowanipore, which supplied numerous props to the maestro’s beloved classics, found itself staring at a bleak future, with no one interested in taking over the reins of business after the current proprietor.
From the chessboard in Shatranj Ke Khiladi to the conical caps worn by the peasants in Hirak Rajar Deshe to the skeleton in Byomkesh Bakshi’s study in Chiriakhana, the now 116-year-old shop DK Makeup, once known as Goopi Babur Dokan, has supplied many artefacts to the auteur for the movies.
Amal Banerjee, who has inherited the shop once run by his grandfather Rashika Mohan Banerjee (Goopi Babu), says his generation is the last one that has shown any interest in running the establishment. Gen Next has opted out because it is no longer profitable.
Tucked away in a blind lane off Asutosh Mukherjee Road in South Kolkata, DK Makeup is a treasure trove for movie buffs in general and for Ray fans in particular.
