Chakoltore,Purulia, July 30: A tragic lightning strike occurred at Chakoltore village in Purulia, West Bengal. The incident took place on Friday, July 29.

Three persons were working in an open field. Suddenly, heavy rain started with loud thunder. The three persons ran towards a large tree. They took shelter under the tree to save themselves from the rain.

Suddenly, a massive lightning bolt struck the tree. All three persons died on the spot. Local villagers heard the sound and rushed to the place.They informed the police immediately. The police recovered the bodies.

The incident cast a dark shadow of grief over the entire village. The local administration expressed deep sorrow. Officials visited the spot quickly. The local administration extended all possible help and financial support to the bereaved families.

পুরুলিয়া, ৩০ জুলাই: পশ্চিমবঙ্গের পুরুলিয়া জেলার চাকলতোড় গ্রামে এক মর্মান্তিক বজ্রপাতে তিনজনের মৃত্যু হয়েছে। ঘটনাটি ঘটে গত শুক্রবার, ২৯ জুলাই।

স্থানীয় সূত্রে জানা গেছে, ওই তিন ব্যক্তি খোলা মাঠে কাজ করছিলেন। হঠাৎ করেই তীব্র মেঘের গর্জনের সাথে ভারী বৃষ্টি শুরু হয়। বৃষ্টির হাত থেকে বাঁচতে তাঁরা তিনজনই দ্রুত একটি বড় গাছের নিচে আশ্রয় নেন।

কিছুক্ষণের মধ্যেই ওই গাছটির ওপর একটি শক্তিশালী বজ্রপাত হয়। ঘটনাস্থলেই তিনজনের মৃত্যু হয়। বিকট শব্দ শুনে স্থানীয় গ্রামবাসীরা দ্রুত ঘটনাস্থলে ছুটে আসেন এবং পুলিশকে খবর দেন। পুলিশ এসে দেহগুলি উদ্ধার করে।

এই মর্মান্তিক ঘটনায় সমগ্র গ্রামে গভীর শোকের ছায়া নেমে এসেছে। স্থানীয় প্রশাসন এই ঘটনায় গভীর সমবেদনা প্রকাশ করেছে এবং শোকাহত পরিবারগুলির পাশে দাঁড়িয়ে সব ধরণের সাহায্যের হাত বাড়িয়ে দিয়েছে।

Three persons were killed on the spot after being struck by lightning.According to eyewitnesses, the victims were working outdoors when a sudden, violent thunderstorm struck the area. Seeking immediate cover from the heavy rain, all three individuals took shelter beneath a nearby tree. Disaster struck moments later when a massive bolt of lightning hit the tree directly, killing them on the spot.Local police and administrative officials rushed to the scene shortly after the incident. Expressing deep sorrow over the tragedy, the local administration extended immediate support and assistance to the bereaved families.
