Voice Change Shortcut Rules (All Tenses)

ভয়েস পরিবর্তনের মূল মন্ত্র হলো: Object হবে Subject, আর Subject যাবে Object-এর জায়গায় (by সহ)। মূল ভার্ব সবসময় Past Participle (V3) হবে।

Tense Auxiliary Verb (Passive) Example (Active → Passive)
Present Indefinite am / is / are I write the letter.
→ The letter is written by me.
Present Continuous am being / is being / are being I am writing the letter.
→ The letter is being written by me.
Present Perfect have been / has been I have written the letter.
→ The letter has been written by me.
Past Indefinite was / were I wrote the letter.
→ The letter was written by me.
Past Continuous was being / were being I was writing the letter.
→ The letter was being written by me.
Past Perfect had been I had written the letter.
→ The letter had been written by me.
Future Indefinite shall be / will be I will write the letter.
→ The letter will be written by me.
Future Perfect will have been I will have written the letter.
→ The letter will have been written by me.
প্রো টিপস: মনে রাখবেন, Continuous মানেই Passive-এ একটি 'being' আসবে এবং Perfect মানেই একটি 'been' আসবে।

Advanced Voice Change Rules

1. Imperative Sentence (আদেশ, অনুরোধ, উপদেশ)

সাধারণত Let দিয়ে শুরু হয়। স্ট্রাকচার: Let + object + be + V3

Command (আদেশ) Write the letter. Let the letter be written.
Negative (নিষেধ) Do not write the letter. You are forbidden to write the letter/Let not the letter be written.
Advice (উপদেশ) Always speak the truth. Let the truth be always spoken.

2. Quasi-Passive (অর্ধ-কর্মবাচ্য)

এই বাক্যগুলো গঠনে Active কিন্তু অর্থে Passive। এদের দুইভাবে করা যায়।

Example 1: Honey tastes sweet.
• Passive 1: Honey is sweet when it is tasted.
Example 2: The house is building.
• Passive: The house is being built.

3. Interrogative (প্রশ্নবোধক)

  • Who থাকলে By whom বসে।
  • Whom থাকলে Who বসে।
Active Passive
Who writes the letter? By whom is the letter written?
Did you write the letter? Was the letter written by you?

4. Modals & Others

Can, Could, May, Might, Must থাকলে এদের সাথে 'be' যোগ করতে হয়।

Active: I can write the letter.
Passive: The letter can be written by me.

  4. Why did he punish you?
  5. Will you help me?

Group D: Modal Auxiliaries & Misc

  1. One must keep one's promise.
  2. You might win the match.
  3. We ought to love our country.
  4. The police could not catch the thief.
  5. Circumstances obliged me to go.
