Master Adverbs: Types, Examples, and Usage
নমস্কার ছাত্র-ছাত্রীরা, আজকে আমরা ইংরেজি গ্রামারের অত্যন্ত গুরুত্বপূর্ণ একটি বিষয় Adverb (অ্যাডভার্ব) এবং এর বিভিন্ন ধরণ নিয়ে আলোচনা করব।
১. Adverbs of Manner
কোনো কাজ কীভাবে সম্পন্ন হচ্ছে, তা বোঝাতে ব্যবহৃত হয়।
Examples: quickly, slowly, carefully, bravely, happily, well.
Sentence: She sings beautifully.
২. Adverbs of Time
কাজটি কখন ঘটছে, তা নির্দেশ করে।
Examples: now, later, yesterday, tomorrow, soon, today, daily.
Sentence: They will arrive tomorrow.
৩. Adverbs of Place
কাজটি কোথায় সম্পন্ন হচ্ছে, তা বোঝায়।
Examples: here, there, everywhere, nearby, outside.
Sentence: He looked everywhere for his keys.
৪. Adverbs of Frequency
একটি কাজ কতবার ঘটে, তা প্রকাশ করে।
Examples: always, sometimes, never, rarely, often, twice, once.
Sentence: She always goes for a walk.
৫. Adverbs of Degree
কোনো কাজের বা বিশেষণের তীব্রতা বা মাত্রা বোঝায়।
Examples: very, quite, too, almost, enough, nearly.
Sentence: The coffee is very hot.
৬. Adverbs of Affirmation/Negation
নিশ্চয়তা বা অস্বীকৃতি প্রকাশ করতে ব্যবহৃত হয়।
Examples: surely, certainly, obviously, hardly.
Sentence: She will surely win the match.
৭. Relative & Interrogative Adverbs
প্রশ্ন করতে বা বাক্য যুক্ত করতে ব্যবহৃত হয় (When, Where, Why, How)।
Sentence: This is the house where I grew up.
