Story of Children and the Railway Track
Brave Children Save a Train
One hot afternoon, three children were collecting green mangoes near a railway track. Suddenly, one of them noticed a big crack on the rails. At the same time, they heard the sound of a train approaching. One of the children immediately sensed the danger of an accident. Without wasting a moment, he tore his red shirt into three pieces. The children waved the pieces like red flags to warn the driver. Seeing the signal, the driver stopped the train just in time. Hundreds of passengers were saved. The railway officers praised the children and rewarded them for their courage and quick action.
Moral: Presence of mind and courage can save many lives.
